The company's subscription service costs $120 a year -- or $13 a month-to-month, due to a recent price overhaul -- but it delivers a large number of benefits that may offset the price of admission.

In select cities, Amazon offers one-hour delivery on tens of thousands of products from local stores.Unlimited streaming of films and TV episodes for paid or free trial members in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.  You could also incorporate movie subscriptions to Showtime, Starz, A&E, AMC, and many other streaming entertainment channels.   

Amazon is constantly expanding its Prime Video library with fresh content.  Unlimited, ad-free access to hundreds of Prime Playlists and over a million songs for associates in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Secure unlimited photo storage from Amazon Cloud Drive. Kindle Owners' Lending Library: Available to members at the U.S.

Video Add-On Subscriptions


It is possible to order third-party streaming apps through Amazon Prime to keep all of your video content in one spot.  As an example, you may add Showtime Anytime and HBO Proceed to your account.

Prime Now


Prime Now is a program for iOS and Android apparatus along with a site which promises free delivery of select items within two hours.  At the outset, the ceremony was only available in select cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Phoenix, but the app has additional new towns on a regular basis.

The goods offered are largely groceries, toiletries, and small presents, but this must change as Amazon gains additional regional partners.  It is also possible to purchase food delivery from a number of your favorite restaurants.   

For instance, in New York City, Eataly, Westside Market, Gourmet Garage, Vintage Grape Wine & Spirits, and Billy's Bakery are one of the participating companies.  You can elect for expedited delivery if you're in a hurry, but that'll cost you an extra $7.99.
